Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl has returned to No. 1 on the U.S. albums chart nearly a year after its original release. Billboard chart data shows the album climbed from No. 21 to the top spot following the release of its expanded The Encore edition.

The latest tracking figures show the album earned 173,000 equivalent album units for the week. Streaming made up 136,000 units, representing 138.79 million official on-demand streams, while traditional album sales contributed another 21,000 units.

The latest rise gives The Life of a Showgirl its 13th nonconsecutive week at No. 1. The album originally debuted with 4.002 million equivalent units in October 2025.

Released September 25, The Encore adds four songs to the project and is available through streaming services and digital download. The expanded edition brought a fresh wave of activity to the album, with both streaming and overall consumption increasing sharply during the latest tracking period.
