The 2026 ASCAP Screen Music Awards brought together composers behind some of the year’s most recognized film, television, and streaming projects. Event organizers confirmed that this year’s ceremony focused on music driving storytelling across multiple platforms.
One of the top honors, Film Score of the Year, went to Wicked: For Good, with John Powell and Stephen Schwartz recognized for their work on the project. The award reflects the film’s strong presence and the role its music played in shaping the overall production.
Additional winners included Ludwig Göransson, named Top Box Office Film Composer, along with Bear McCreary for Top Network Television Composer and Carlos Rafael Rivera for Top Cable Television Composer. In streaming, Natalie Holt received Top Streaming Series Composer.
