President Trump unveiled plans for the U.S. government and companies to invest in savings accounts for employees’ children as part of a $1.45 trillion spending bill. California has sued the Trump administration after the state’s National Guard was deployed to confront protesters in Los Angeles without the governor’s consent. Hurricane Barbara has become the first hurricane of the eastern Pacific season, churning about 150 miles off the western coast of Mexico. As of Monday, Barbara’s center was around 155 miles southwest of Manzanillo.
